I haven't faced any because I don't use the term MGTOW outside of the internet, but I see on various other sub-reddits that there is a belief that those of us who have gone our way hate women, we're misguided, we're bitter because we cannot get women, those people pity us and think we're hurting ourselves in the long-term but I vehemently disagree. I was hurting myself by engaging with women and society because society is a dog-eat-dog world, where every man and woman is in it for themselves and only serve to unite as a society in times of desperation or when it's necessary to bestow faux-outrage at a certain politician who just so happens to be the 45th President of the United States of America when he allegedly makes a comment that cannot be verified through hard evidence.

This may be true of some folk within MGTOW but such broad, blanket statements only serve to show a lack of understanding and ignorance. I do not hate women, I harbor no bitter, frustration or ill-will towards any woman. I don't see women as inferior, I don't see society as being against me because I don't care for women nor do I really believe in the concept of a society. I believe in the individual and that is what MGTOW is about. Individualism has enabled me to use society purely for the opportunity to benefit in some small measure from the economic liberalism that it has established.

Its the classic tease until you break tactic. Those people want to make you as miserable as they are. So they'll, to use the hot terms of today, "shame" you with hopes of "triggering" you into something you really don't want to do. Laugh it off and do your own thing.

As a MGTOW, none. No one around here even knows this term.

As a single male that doesn't get attached or has many friends, and a semi-nerd in IT:

I have been called boring, gay, retarded, dumb, virgin, faggot, diseased, crippled and ugly. Most of these by girls my age through the ages of 9-18.

Most recently a girl asked me about my job and what I do, and when I explained to her, watering It down so she could understand, she flat out told me it fit me since I'm boring. We were 19 then.

Keep in mind I didn't even know 99% of these girls, including the one that insulted my job.

I never understood. It's all in good spirits to jokingly tease a friend, but I didn't even know these girls.

From my experience, men totally get it. Since I'm not attached to a money blood sucking miserable wife, I get to earn great money and enjoy life the way it was meant for men to enjoy: travel, no restrictions, freedom, etc. All my buddies who are attached all look broke and miserable, and the only thing they look forward to is their satellite TV every night. They don't have any life experiences to talk about since all of their time is preoccupied by their women. Yuck.

I don't experience much pressure from older women. Especially older married women. They totally understand that women under 45 were raised under psychotic feminist ideals dictated by society which renders them useless self-centered bitches. They don't blame us guys for avoiding them.

The only people offended by MGTOW are single ladies. That's because we made the choice to stay away from them. These modern girls are all about control, and they don't like it when we remove their ability to control us. So I ignore their name calling and such. Screw them.
