I get the sly feeling their intentions are even more sinister than you think. It's not just about dumbing down the course, it's more about normalising the fact that so and so female philosophers are respected and recognised names. Then men in the future cannot say 'all great and famous philosophers are men' without all the sheep saying 'umm like 40% of famous philosophers are women, typical misogyny'.

This has to be a joke. Regardless of what your opinion might be on the subject, the fact is that the ideas and people you study were chosen because they were deeper than there competitors. While women did not contribute much to the field. This entire scheme is the equivalent of saying that we should teach alchemy instead of chemistry because there were historically more female alchemists than chemists. Utter insanity!!!!
