Most conference calls are just somebody going over a PowerPoint that could of been sent in an email, adding if anyone has questions to reply back to original sender. Bam work day interrupted for 2 ish minutes instead of an hour.

Post is 2 hours old... and yet somehow I envision this "conference call" as probably still going on.

The outcome of course, is entirely predictable: the 2 men will be assigned with any/all actual "work" that needs to be done, while the 7 women will be variously engaged in tracking the "progress" of said work, planning the upcoming additional "meetings" (and of course conference calls) around it, and finally creating the press release and the "event" (virtual or otherwise) where THEY will be taking credit for it.
