The best part about Higgins is you never really knew what his deal was, and they slowly revealed it.

How would a female higgins work? Sexual tension no one cares about? Why not just make them all women then? And some feminist dyke action in. They can have the cops show up every episode at the end for another domestic violence issue.

Yep! Won't watch it! Same with Stephan Kings Dark Tower. I find it infuriating that these directors and producers can ignore the script and cast the wrong actor then attack the critics as racists when they object! Stick to the script..the story loses something when you don't!

Mildly unrelated to the point, but is this gonna exist in the same universe as "Hawaii 5-O"? One of the actors from that show turned up and told Magnum the case belonged to "HPD and 5-O". That's be an interesting crossover.

I actually think it doesn't look bad except.....that godawful Higgens. Had to show a badass fight scene too where she goes thru hitmen like they arent even there. Sigh.

I don't much mind Higgens as a female. Might even work if she was lowkey but yeah that will never happen.

I actually love the reboot and I am a huge fan of the origimal. Each episode I like more than the previous. It is awesome having TC and Rick back, they really nailed those two. And the female Higgins just brings the sexual tension between the original Magnm & Higgins to the forefront instead of burying it in subtext.
