I want to wake up to a torrent of social media posts from people who supported this and got fired for leaving work early.

This whole campaign stinks of entitled female privilege. It also hi-lights the easy office related jobs that these women do in general where they can just walk out and it doesn't affect business.

Admin and HR and accounting. Just shows how useless their jobs are.

Does the dogman who operates cranes on a dirty and dangerous building site just get to walk off the job at 3:50pm in the middle of a highly technical and dangerous crane manoeuvre? Does the concreter just stop laying the whole slab at 3:50pm for some stupid virtue signalling?

It's getting beyond fucken outrageous.

If I were in management at any company where these women actually walked off their jobs, they'd be fired for job abandonment.

No recourse, no unemployment benefits, and a bad reference on top of it. I believe I'd actually be giggling like a fool in anticipation.

The biggest contributor to the earnings gap is that women work fewer hours. But even then feminists claim that's oppression of women because women are expected to be the stay-at-home caregivers. No. Women want to be the ones to care for the children. Even in Sweden (with an officially feminist government) women take 80% of all parental leave.
