SS/ it turns out Japanese speedboat racing is a great place to gather data on male and female competitiveness. The sport features mixed racing, and races of each sex only. It turns out that women do better in women-only races, objectively so. And men post their fastest times, and take more risks, in mixed races where women also compete!

This analysis is definitely food for thought.
