I wouldn't be too hard on yourself man. Internet dating is hyper competative for guys just cause of the sheer volume of attention chicks get. I wouldn't take it as an indication of how attractive and date-able you are.

I go through swings of wanting to try it every few months, so I give it a shot for a while and then I'm reminded why I don't try online stuff. These spurts have been happening less often since finding this philosophy/mindset. I get it though lonliness is a shit thing and it makes you try stuff. Stop thinking that you need women for anything else than childbearing - You don't.
