Probably last anniversary for those veterans who are still alive. 75 years since this sacrifice for West civilization and what have we done. Crumbled it with degenerates.
Hard times make strong men. Strong men make good times. Good times make weak men. Weak men make hard times.

I think around the time of this photo western civilization was pretty much done. World War 2 was nothing but a civil war between western cultures. Similar to the Battle of Actium in ancient times. Men didnt fight for the western civilization there, they fought for what you have today, so it seems we all lost the war, long time ago.
Unless you believe tradcon utopias and lies, materialism and consumerism, and the women suffrage are part of the western civilization. Non sense.

Well while woman suffrage came before WWII I agree with the sentiment. Sometimes it seems like the SJWs won WWII and we are seeing the insane results.

My ancestors who were in the war were tough as nails. I have a great uncle who saw combat in both world wars! My great grandfather was decorated for bravery on numerous occasions in the first world war after volunteering in 1914 and doing some research i found out his commanding officer was somewhat of a legend. Not many men got 2 bars on their military cross. My other grandfather volunteered in 1915 and also survived numerous battles, he was gassed twice. Smoked his whole life and survived TB. Died at the grand old age of 86 - pretty impressive back then.
My mums father saw combat in North Africa, Italy he actually did land at Gold beach but 2 weeks after the initial invasion. He would never really talk about what he did in Europe, although he was a very very clever guy. Self taught engineer and spoke French and German. I've always suspected some form of classified work.

Where's the woman with the prosthetic arm? Oh, that's right, at home experiencing the terror of having lost her husband. I'm just waiting for the feminists to claim, in pure seriousness, that it was really the women who stayed at home and lost their husbands who were the real heroes.

Think my grandad almost died in Arnhem in WW2. I tell women this story and they don’t give a shit...

My great uncle was shot in the arm fighting in Nijmegen. It certainly changed him, the wound bothered him for the rest of his life. Always had a grudging respect for the "huns" as he called them.

I have always respect my grandad and people of his generation. I still believe they were/are the greatest generation of all time. My grandad signed up for the Air Force a year earlier just because he wanted to help the cause. He almost died too

To all those men, and those here that can read this currently serving: thank you for your service.
As long as I'm able-bodied and can still carry a weapon, or rip and tear with my bear hands, these heroes shall not be forgotten.
