Story time, guys.

Yesterday I was at an event. I ran into friends of a friend -- all women. I've met them a few times and they seemed nice enough.

No.

After an hour, they stood around bitching about their jobs, and how men have a leg up. Men are taught how to fight for what they want in the workplace, and women are taught to be meek and just give in. They asked me who taught me to stand up for myself in the workplace, and I told them, calmly: no one. I figured it out myself. Things aren't always easy for me. I get passed up for promotions, I make less money than I'd like, but I don't blame other people for my problems.

That shut them up. Then I left.

Moral of the story is, don't waste your time getting angry at them. Or better yet, don't waste your time on them, period. They're exhausting.

Edit: to clarify, I don't work with them.
