Only explanation I can give it's a form of automutilation. Some women (and men for that matter) cut themselves other mutilate their bodies with silly drawings. IIRC tattoos are a male "thing" and with specific "groups." Like sailors, inmates and gang members. And the same goes with over piercing. I'd say 2 pierces per ear and debatable a umbilical pierce are enough for me. When women have their complete ears filled with pierces, lips, nose, tongue, eyebrows or yuck , their clit and/or tattoos are huge red flags for me she's actually totally insane.
