She continues the nagging,you leave for an extended period,she files for child custody citing abandonment...you end up with paying child support.

I would speak to a lawyer. Try to get a custody order in asap. Go for full custody or nothing less than 50/50.

If you're the one paying for the place, you don't leave. She does.

And this is the time to be VERY CAREFUL. I would make sure to record any interaction with her that might escalate to a false accusation that could get you jailed for DV. Be careful.

Under no circumstances should you leave or let her throw you out. She can then claim abandonment and even though you're not married it won't look good for you when it comes to the authorities. She can have you barred from the property that you are still required to pay for if you're not careful.

You are now living with your worst enemy. Always be ready to record her anytime she starts shit (which she will) - she's making up shit to get you to bail so she can play victim and collect her cash and prizes. Cut her off from all your money immediately. Change your direct deposit to a new bank account, cancel the credit cards, whatever you have to do to keep her from taking everything you have. Don't give her another fucking dime. Buy things for your kid, but under no circumstances does she get cash or access to your accounts.

Ultimately she sounds like she wants to break up but she wants to make you the bad guy. So that's probably where this is going but don't you move out of a property that you're legally obligated to pay for. Your kid will grow up happier with separated parents than watching you both fight all the time.

Take away her weapons and watch her squirm. Don't let her bait you into fights- she's trying to get you to lose your cool so she can get that restraining order. When she gets desperate she might hit you to try and provoke a response. Go immediately to the police station and get a ex parte restraining order on her, they will come and remove her from the house. Don't back out because you're afraid of the kid watching mom go out in cuffs, this is what she wanted to do to you, remember? Under no circumstances call the cops to your home- you will immediately be the bad guy even if you have a knife in your back and she's covered in your blood. Down at the police station it's another playbook.

But I am replying because it sounds like you are determined to stay. You need to change the power dynamic in your relationship if you want to do that, with red pill knowledge and techniques. It may be slow and you may still end up fucked, but it can work, so if you really think there is something to her maybe you should try - if so, go read the sidebar.
