I was in a relationship for 7 sevens with my baby mama. Long story short after years of her cheating, domestic violence and the violence getting so bad to where she actually fired a firearm inside our residence I left the house and relationship.

I have two toddler girls 2YO and 4YO. In January of this year I moved into a new home and had my girls full time while working and paying for daycare. I would get a text once a week or two from the baby mama asking how the girls were doing.

In May I was served papers with the mother wanting 50/50 custody. To this point in may the mother maybe had the children overnight at her house 4-5 times in this 5 month span. My oldest child said she was left at home alone and was abandoned. I contacted CPS and the police department is investigating her for neglect. (CPS and police also worked the gunshot deal).

I pay 1700 a month for daycare while the baby mama doesn’t work. Doesn’t make much sense for the kids to go to daycare while I work if their mother is doing nothing and hasn’t worked for two years.

I guess I really wanted to rant how we are about to go to court for custody when she doesn’t want her kids other than putting it on paper to save face for her pending criminal charges (her family has lots of money). If I am ordered to pay child support for her to sit on her ass while she’s at home doing nothing while I also pay the daycare bills (she is trespassed from the daycare) I am going to be very upset.

Thoughts? My attorney kinda makes it seem like it is what it is. For you young men in here be careful who you decide to have kids with. And if you do have kids with someone and they exhibits signs of psychosis where they hit you to the point you’re bleeding and guns are going off in your house. Don’t feel like you’ll be a pussy for calling the cops like I was scared to do. Call the cops and pursue legal actions before you find yourself getting fucked because of the system like I am about to be.
