It's crazy how because my brother is having a hard time paying for his lawyer, that his wife (separated) may get custody of the children. Despite having essentially kidnapped them, taken them from Alabama to Texas where she then started to date her own cousin, and having the girls live in an unfinished basement, she will probably end up with the kids because of whatever antiquated rules are in place. MY brother fought hard to get the girls and he gives them the best life possible, but I almost feel like his children's future is in the hands of a judicial system.
