Chris, I filled in the survey. I vote Republican, my father beat me when I was a child, and in my spare time I like to torture cats. Not that those things have anything to do with each other. Or do they? Perhaps SCIENCE will find out.

Seeing as this survey has been posted in quite a few subreddits, you're evidently looking for participants from across the political spectrum. Where does /r/mensrights fit into that spectrum? Are we like /r/bodybuilding? Or are we closer to /r/femalefashionadvice ?
