I don't think you know what a "Double Standard" is.

The Trump manager isn't being charged because he "touched" a person. He's being charged because he actually inflicted harm (she had visible bruising on her arm).

Further, the public backlash has more to do with his and Trump's blatant lying about the event, than the actual event.

Your gif doesn't show something even remotely comparable. Most significant of all is the fact that the woman isn't going to get a bruise from a gentle touch on the shoulder.

Plus, it's more likely that she bruised herself while taking the picture And don't forget Michelle fields lied too. She said that she was thrown down by lewandowski. That clearly didn't happen. You are parroting a talking point. She never claimed she got knocked down. She described it exactly as it appears on the video.

And again, this isn't about the seriousness of injury. It's that Lewandowski claimed it never happened, and Trump backed him up. Now this video is released that clearly vindicates her, and Trump counters by suggesting her pen might be a knife or a bomb.

So again - no double standard here. The story is only getting coverage because of the lies after the fact. If they had just apologized that would have been the end of it.

You're deliberately taking 3 words out of context to defend a defenceless position.

She quite clearly indicates that she did not fall. The video confirms this.

As for bruising, it's entirely possible that she was gripped extremely tightly. If she was gently led aside, it likely would not have bruised her, and we would likely not be having this conversation. However, if he grabbed her extremely forcefully and left a bruise, she might have been more upset and more likely to report on it.

Firstly she was nowhere close to almost falling down. Secondly she wasn't even pushed aside hard. Gently laying aside annoying journalists who work for cucks like Ben Shapiro never works. When it was Trump's campaign manager, a guy who stopped a journalist from approaching trump he was charged with battery. Hillary's campaign manager did the exact same thing(as seen in the gif). Will she get charged too?

Looks more to me like he went in for a hug from Uma and she rebuffed him. He was already past Hillary when the contact between he and Uma happened.
