Female privilege in Indian metro trains

I know I'll get downvoted, but I'll never understand why Indian posters here think what happens in their country is any way comparable to the west, where gynocentrism is almost ingrained into law and culture. Whereas in India, you guys have an actual problem with the treatment women, and is the case in most developing countries. I mean for example, there's a perfectly good reason why there's a separate carriage for women in Indian trains. Anyone who'd know anything about India would know that there's a major problem with sexual assault against women, especially in tight spaces like trains.. I dunno, I just don't see it a problem here.

Oh, this is nothing, there are special trains, buses, heard even taxis only for women in Mumbai. Still they will create ruckus in queues, bus, everywhere.

In Delhi metro, men gets beaten if they get into metro compartments reserved for women, but women get into every compartment they feel and create a ruckus.

There are lot of women pick pockets and petty criminals in Delhi metro.

They do this in Japan to help curb the molestation of women on trains, which was a major issue during rush hour when the trains are packed. And part of me isn't bothered by this because it's means I'd be less likely to have to smell some woman's perfume she decided to take a bath in that day or worse have to stand because she took up three seats with her bags.

We have those too here (Egypt) in our Cairo subway trains. I don't the problem with them, though. Women truly need these female-only carriages to protect them from harassment.

I mean India sort of has a problem with men touching them. Not saying all indians are horny but women may need these. Unlike the west you don'e need the MRA there unless it is something to do with the dowry. Yeah I agree men in india who have been raped need a voice but women really need help there.

I had posted about special treeatment to women in public transport prevalent in India in this comment.

The metro service has a Facebook page (unverified, though) that claims the same. Why not a coach exlusively for men, too?
