For my job, I personally have to go through the local sex offender database on a weekly basis. I would say 95% of the cases the victim is under the age of 14... and most of that is under age 10. I do not feel bad for these people.

I do feel VERY bad for the 20 year old guy who had sex with a 16 year old and had to be put on the list, but I have yet to encounter something like that except on reddit or other similar sites. I know it happens, but I would say out of the 674,000 americans, maybe 4k are a special situation. That is a lot, but not in comparison to the 670,000 cho-mos out there.
