My brother is in an abusive relationship. He and his SO have a daughter together. She is constantly screaming at him. Saying some of the most vulgar insults I’ve ever heard, all with the baby on her hip. She uses the baby as a pawn to try and get her way. Constantly plays the victim and makes up false accusations against my brother and family. My family stopped talking to her all together but are still there for him. She has been physically violent with him in the past week. We all feel helpless because if he leaves then the baby is unprotected. If he stays he’s worried about making through another night alive. If we call the cops she will just throw out these horrible accusations and make it even more messy. IMO she is abusing both my brother and their baby verbally and emotionally and possibly physically. We don’t have much money so getting a lawyer will take a little time getting money together. We have screenshots of all her crazy posts and texts. What can he do? I’m tired of seeing him drained like this and worried every day about what his baby is going through at the hands of her “mother.”
