I had a conversation with my uncle about masculinity. He was discussing the rapper lil Nas X who wears outfits like this https://www.google.com/search?q=lil+nas+x&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjW2-2OmNLpAhV9VzABHXtsA3gQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=lil+nas+x&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAA6BwgjEOoCECc6BAgjECc6BAgAEENQ7S5YvENg5URoAXAAeACAAaICiAGxDpIBBTAuMi42mAEAoAEBqgELZ3dzLXdpei1pbWewAQo&sclient=img&ei=6mPNXta-KP2uwbkP-9iNwAc&bih=649&biw=1366&rlz=1CAXGER_enUS866US866

My uncle believes that this is part of the gay agenda (he knows im gay but because i am not that flamboyant he is ok with it). I however reminded him that he is a fan of boy George and George Michael and Prince who use to wear flashy colorful outfits, but he said that was different. I really wonder what has changed that people that accepted boy George back in the 80s now think a person like lil Nas X is promoting anti masculine behavior. What do you guys think?
