Why don't you try a surrogacy or an IVF then? although it wouldn't get 100% of your genes, it would still be your child.

This comment might come out as problematic, but from what I've read stable two family parents work much better than single parent families, regardless of who the single parent is.

Since this is not a child you plan to adopt, but rather give birth to in some sense, do think along that frontier too.

Edit: This is not discouragement. Just a dimension you might want to think along.

Honestly I can understand your desire to wanting a kid but it's scientifically proven that a child who grows up in a one parent household won't be as mentally healthy as a child born in a house with a strong male figure and feminine caring mother.

You honestly can't play both roles and you won't be able to give your child everything that an emotionally healthy mother can offer.

I always say this chicks who wants to be single mothers so I'm not afraid of saying this to guys who want to be single fathers as well.

I grew up without a dad for the first 11 years of my life due to circumstances and it was honestly pretty emotionally and mentally damaging to me. When I was at school or outside and saw people having fun with their dads I always felt pretty sad and wondered why can't I have that too? Before I went to sleep I always kept a picture of my dad under my pillow and sometimes I would cry wondering why he's not here and could not hangout with him.

It killed my mom to see me like this too. My mom did everything she could to fill in the gaps and make me feel loved and taken care of and I really appreciate it her so much for that but it simply wasn't enough.

We need to stop with this nonsense of trying to be single mothers and single fathers by choice. We didn't survive as a species for million of years by being "sTroNg iNdEpeNdEnT mEn/wOmEn wHo nEeDs nO wOmEn/mEn."

We need to each others to survive and thrive.

I know western women are lowkey trash wifey materials dude but why don't you look elsewhere? Lots of Asian , European and Middle Eastern countries where you can find feminine, loving women that respects men, have value and ethics and prioritises family before anything else.

Honestly just sharing my two cents. You're free to do what you want but I'm warning. My story isn't different from countless other individuals who grew up in a single parent household. Is this always the case? Probably not but in majority of cases the child just grows up feeling like they're lacking something in certain aspects.
