Sails have right of way over power. A woman is steering her sailboat. A guy in a tugboat makes sure he’s clear of the sailboat’s path. The sailboat, not paying attention, cuts in front of the tugboat. The guy in the tugboat yells at the sailboat and swerves out of the way. The women yells back that she has the right of way. Another boat who was speeding by runs into what’s being pulled by the tugboat. Later in a diner, the sailboat woman and tugboat man see each other. The guy is rightly pissed off that the lady ran him out of the channel. The woman exclaims that she had right of way and vocalizes that she thinks the guy’s ego is just hurt because she is a female skipper. The guy stands up for himself and says that this has nothing to do with her being a woman. He’s pissed off because she wasn’t handling her boat properly and safely out on the water. The lady is speechless. Later in the episode, the lady delivers a sincere apology.

Anyway, I just thought I’d share this with you all since we hear an awful lot about “mansplaining” nowadays.
