Main themes

  • The story of how masculine heroism can be self-destructive, if you try to save those who do not wish to be saved, if you wish to sacrifice and be a heroic figure for other people make sure that they are people worth sacrificing for

Main character:

Lefou: gastons gym bro who gaston is helping to get jacked

Belle: snobby elitist, see’s herself as better then the villagers, dreams of a life of riches and books, despises the boring provincial life, sees herself as better due to noble heritage, traumatized by death of her mother, “I am not going to die here like she did”

Belle’s father: ever since belle’s mother he has been distant from his daughter, does his best to provide and give her what she wants but no discipline so belle is a spoiled brat

Belle’s mother: took care of gaston when he was younger, belle and gaston were childhood childhood friends, former english noble sister of king george, sickly and weak, kind lady who took care of gaston, doesn’t have any skills or abilities due to pampered upbringing, gaston mentally promised he would protect belle after she died

king george: incestually in love with his sister(belle's mother) so belles mom and maurice fled from france to get away from him, and start a new life in a quiet french village where they settle

Gaston’s father: former war hero, inspired gaston to be a hero, killed by bandits while gaston was in the military, gaston returns to protect the village after his death

Gaston’s mother: died in childbirth

Gastons new gf: need to think of a good time, fit tomboy with abs, bombs french government chariots to raid supplies, thinks like a machievellian but an overall moral person, was the leader of a small pocket of resistance groups scattered across france, Gaston helps her unite the various french and English resistances the challenge the franco-british empire

The beast: cursed as a 10 year old, obsessive controlling, and extremely manipulative, he see’s other people as mere objects, and frequently mistreats his furniture people who he see’s as slaves, a life cooped up in castle isolated drove him mad

Enchantress: a cruel magical being who cursed a 10 year old, see’s no value in human life, enjoys inflicting torment on humans simply for her amusement, if a sequel is written she will be the main villain

First scene: gastons death in the snow

Gaston: arrogant, narcissistic, who wants to be a hero, wants to protect and provide for people, despite knowing there are better options is madly in love/dutyboud with belle due to childhood bond, feels honor bond to protect her, after her mother died

Second scene: flashback to gaston and lefou in the gym, here gaston displays his arrogance and narcissism, as well as his kind heart, as lefou hits a 185 bench and gaston applauds and praises him, then flexes his biceps, add a scene in which gaston helps around the village doing whatever productive task, while still being arrogant in a goofy fun way

going to have to rewatch beauty and the beast to get it all in order, but the scenes were belle and gaston are going to be recontextualizing with the idea that belle is a lazy slovenly neet who doesn’t contribute to the community, and gaston wants her to be productive

Later on maurice barges into the tavern, everyone thinks he is just drunk and seeing things so no one is taking him seriously, later on after belle doesn’t return they all believe she was killed by wild animals and maurice has gone mad

Belle returns to village to village, gaston believes she has magic stockholm syndrome, he rallies the villagers and leads the charge to kill the beast, he thinks about his fathers and belles mother as all this is going on

Later scene: the storming of the beasts castle, this time the storming of the castle is in gruesome gory detail, as the furniture slaughter everyone climbing up the stairs

Gaston challenges the beast on the rooftop, belle aids the beast in the fight and gaston is kicked off the building

Final scene: sequel tease the enchantress walks up to the dead body of gaston and smiles at him

make sure to have scenes of gastons close relatonship with belle and her familly in flashback to contrast with how traumatized and withdrawn belle becomes after the death of her mother

Notes:

  • belle was a snobby elitist who didn't contribute to the village, while gaston was the hero who protected and provided. The beast was actually a dangerous lunatic who kidnapped girls and Gaston was justified in believing he was a serious threat to their community as he kidnapped a girl and essentially brainwashed her into falling in love with him through manipulation
  • Based on the fact that Gaston knows what “expectorating” means, it can be deduced that Gaston has partaken in intellectual pursuits and found them wanting. He tries to share this wisdom with Belle, but she is taken in by the airs of academia and attempts to insult Gaston by calling him “primeval”. Gaston takes this a compliment, recognizing his efforts to become more in touch with natural way of being has paid of
  • "Some people use their imagination"
  • Belle is a neet and a narcissist
  • The beast is a neet who is obsessive and controlling
  • Gaston is a hyperproductive chad
  • "Oh so like imagining a giant, homicidal fur-clad man/beast making love to you after kidnapping you and killing a man? This is the kinda stuff the village is talking about when we say 'getting ideas', Belle."
  • Belle, you don't work; don't pay taxes; don't contribute to society in any matter or form. You spend your days reading novellas and dreaming about being fucked by a giant, rich furry. Please, you don't need to stop reading altogether, just make it a hobby istead of your entire life. Start to work to sustain yourself and your future family, since people that don't marry in this day and age are pretty much financially and health-wise doomed."
  • furthermore, belle fell in love with the beast because he takes advantage of her elitist attitude and she feels better or more special then the commoners she sees as beneath her. a mixture of his wealth, power, and Stockholm syndrome essentially
  • beast is a beta male that only harmed the people arround him from his subjects to belle while Gaston was an alpha male that united his community and was beloved .
  • gaston was a good man who died protecting his village from a genuinely dangerous monster

Why Beauty & the Beast is IMPLICITLY Right-Wing - YouTube (this one is really fucking weird and I don’t like a lot of it’s ideas but it does have some things we can pull from)

ON HEROES:

Atlas in chains. The sword itself can be dulled, and then traded or tossed or beheld from the high shelf. The charge on one never cared for. Even the angels were warriors, once. Boy alone. Man alone. The dog will bite the hand that feeds; the dog will demand you come down on all fours and tell it what you really think. Silver through the ribs and skull for good measure. Red on white on marble on ice frosted slick and how is it possible to sweat and burn when it’s ten below?

And then the clapping turned to jeers and then the pitchforks came out.

They raised him then threw him out in the middle of winter. Just for looking at them wrong, whatever that means.

No one really stops being a child; they just hide that part from the grown up, including themself.

, the idea being the enchantress cursed the beast, bro becomes mad ugly and isolated, and thus very obsessive over belle, and kidnaps her and confines her to make her his

the beast is still evil, as he rules france with an iron fist, and confined belle until she loved him but it was the constant loneliness brought about by the curse that made him this way

beast was basically just an autistic incel, while gaston was the chad

one of my main ideas was to make the enchantress the main arch villain, a supernatural being who plays with human lives at whim, for entertainment and pleasure, since I wanted her to represent a force of nature, there is no way for gaston to defeat due to her lack of a corporal form, the beast is also a tragic villain driven by the isolation in his castle

because if you go back and watch the movie, you realize that the enchantress cursed the beast when he was 10 years old

also I need to point out how the hell did a homeless lady get in contact with a prince long enough for him to piss her off

so lets add trespass on to her list of insane crimes

plot of part 2

gaston revived by enchantress discovers his village is absolutely gone, learns that the beast burned it to the grown and massacred every one and he goes off on a quest of revenge, he unites the small revolutionary groups scattered across france

however the former royal family is all dead, the beast/prince is the true king of france, and he has magical monsters and robots in his armies

beast has some left over magic powers as a consequence of freeing himself from the curse, and the robots are essentially mass produced humanoid versions of the created by belle’s father in the movie

the robot army is actally very small and only consists of elite paramilitaries the majority of his standing army is still human

belle's father was similar to leo da vinci and created early automatons that could be mass produced by the resources of the french(and later franco-british government but we'll get to that)

due to Belle's family connection the British and French Empires have united into the franco-british empire

the beast decided to use belle's heritage convince king george and his very creepy assistant with snake eyes to join him and create his new empire

king george becomes far more authoritarian then in our world, and continues to supply the beast with materials needed to construct maurices robots, so about halfways through the story gaston and his french revolutionaries ally themselves with british and american revolutionaries to fight the imperial nations of france and england who now control the majority of europe and are highly expansionist they are also supported by italian, germany, belgium who fear the might of the franco-british empire

at some point in the series Gaston's back is against the wall the franco-british empire is too strong, he is horribly injured, the enchantress come to him and offers him an opportunity for strength, to train in a magic cave that strengthens his body with the greatest warriors of history, this is basically just an excuse for me to simp about great warriors and lifting weights but hey its my story I write what I want

also she gives him a giant berserk sword

stronger then ever before gaston decapitates king george, kicking off the french and american revolutionaries

he has a badass final confrontation with the beast/prince and kills belle

however since gaston is too popular, he is betrayed and killed by robespierre who seems him as a threat to his new order

although Gaston kills the beast and belle he saves their newborn baby, after his betrayal by robespierre his gf flees to America with the baby to build a new life as Europe collapses in the power vaccum

general story notes

Gaston is a proletariat hero symbolize the strength of the working man his death and betrayal at the hands of robespierre symbolic of how communist leaders betrayed their citizens and revolutionary ideals

In the rematch between gaston and the handsome prince, gaston defeats the prince but he drinks a potion concocted by the enchantress that reverts him back to beast form only even more monstrous this time, and then gaston kills him after a hard fight refusing assistance from his allies facing him to man

In this version Maurice assists gaston in raiding the castle, but the beast has him imprisoned instead of killed, every other villager who raided the castle was killed, the beast attempts to brainwash maurice into liking him just like he did with belle, when he realized it was a pointless endeavor he has maurice imprisoned in a secret dungeon and tells belle that the villagers killed her father, so he has all the people in the village mass executed as his gift to belle, she is pleased as she sees them as deserving death for killing her father

In the secret dungeon he threatens Maurice and his daughter to have him create robots to serve as the princes private army

With the combination of magic powers and the new robots the prince easily takes power and has the rest of the royal family executed

In order to ensure Maurice complies the prince has a little girl serve as his assistant in order to constantly remind of his daughter and what could happen to her if she refuses to comply

Maurice is cold and ignores the first girl seeing through such blatant and obvious psychological manipulation, so the beast has her throat slit in front of him to send a message

But what the beast doesn’t know is that before Maurice got into robots his specialty was advanced explosives, essentially he could create modern day explosives like c4, semtex, nitroglycerin etc

So he teaches the second little girl everything he knows about explosives, and becomes her father figure, eventually he stages an explosion in the factory and helps her escape

He used the fake death of the girl to get the upper hand and tells him that he is does not cut this bullshit out, Maurice will kill himself to ensure that no more girls are sent in, the beast reluctantly relents and maurice continues to work for the beast to ensure belle’s safety

That little girl becomes an orphan and eventually bandit who uses her explosives skill to rob french caravans, she becomes gastons revolutionary ally and gf

Unfortunately when the beast finds out about a revolutionary group with mysterious (but familiar) explosions and a female leader whose age lines up pretty well he figures out whats going on

So he kills maurice, and uses his death to physiologically torment her and break her spirit, he even sends the revolutionaries maurices head in a box that says “I know you are” however all it does is fuel her fire to defeat him and take revenge

after gastons second death at the hands of robespierre, she flees to america and helps rebuild the country in the aftermath of a far more devastating American revolution

(remember that the beasts threats to kill belle are all talk, despite everything he is madly in love with her, and needs her for the alliance with the franco-british empire, but maurice does not know this and as a father he will do whatever it takes to keep his daughter safe)
