Are manipulative women even attracted to their man? Or do they only like the fact she can control him?

Every relationship I know of the women controls the man. He follows her around, she cheated the man doesn't leave. She tells him what to do what not to do. And I wonder why a man would stay in a relationship like that. But then I wonder if their girlfriend even likes them at all. Why would she use her boyfriend like that if she could just do the same to a guy she isn't even dating.
