As for the actual degree makeup helps in a woman's looks, I've said it before that the only difference between an 9 and a 10 is presentation. Take their makeup off, put them into sweat pants, and you won't be able to tell the difference. However, they'll be far better looking naturally than 5-7s in my experience. Some 7s and a fair amount of 8s can go either way actually.

It's good to look for a woman who habitually wears makeup, though. Because that means she is making an effort. Women who make an effort are treating men with respect. They are not taking men's attraction and attention for granted.
