What Do Women Want?
Gene Simmons, rock star, Demon, and 70’s sex god once answered this age-old question succinctly with, “Everything.” While Gene wasn’t wrong, per say, there is value in answering this question concisely, but with more applicable detail.
A better answer with regards to facilitating self-improvement, is that women want someone who is better than themselves. At first glance that doesn’t seem particularly helpful, but the variables left ambiguous help to drive home the point.
To be better than someone else is a relative position. If you find yourself asking, “In what ways does a women want her man better than herself?” we’re back to Gene Simmons. Ideally, she wants a man who is better than her in every way. She wants a man with more money than her, who is better looking than her, who is more sociable than her, who can dance better than her, who is more knowledgeable than her…
As much as we like to say that AWALT, a women’s personality will dictate which traits are most important to her. If she is an avid horse rider, she will be very attracted to a man who is better than her at horseback riding. Women who revel in socializing will be attracted to someone who is better than her at small talk. Very athletic women will be attracted to men who can outdo them in athletics.
The Practical Take Away
This simple concept sets the stage for the things that you can take direct action on. I believe they can be broken down into two rough groups.
- Things that make you better.
- Things that make you appear better.
In group 1, we have value adding things like working out, making money, practicing social skills, learning fashion, etc.
In group 2, we have PUA/game techniques such as neging, dread game, manipulating, pre-selection, peacocking, lying, etc.
For best results, work towards attaining items from group 1. As you progress (and even from the outset) you can use items from group 2 to imply that you have more items from group 1 than you currently do, and later to demonstrate the items from group 1 that you have actually attained.
The magic behind PUA/game is that it makes you appear more valuable than you actually are, or in the case of men with self-esteem below their merits, game can accurately demonstrate the traits that you actually have.
It is interesting to note that, in general, the more ways in which you improve, the more ways in which you are going to be utilizing game techniques unconsciously. For example, when a high value man subconsciously checks out a random girl and his girlfriend/plate feels dread as a result, he wasn’t running dread game intentionally, it is a byproduct of his value and other people’s recognition of it.
TL;DR: You need to be better than any women you want to attract in as many ways as possible.
