If they didn't, evolution would not have equipped men with an interest in bonding with their kids and kids related to them. Evolution does not waste calories, and raising kids, that takes up a man's calories.

I think this whole segment is eye opening. No one bothered to look at the effect fathers have on raising children because people were so worried about the mothers.
