Upon ingestion of the red pill, we accept its bitter taste and open our eyes to peek behind the curtain. We see how the sexual marketplace functions and apply principles we've learned to our daily interactions and contort our behaviors to become more appealing, be it for ourselves or for the opposite gender.

But to what extent does a man's game/alpha behaviors assist in changing the world's or a woman's perception of him? What role do genetics or, the hand you were dealt, contribute in your quest to become the TopPoonSlayer?

There are two schools of thoughts that dominate in regards to sexual attraction...1.) Looks don't matter, it's all about game 2.) Looks is all there is, game comes second.

Let's take a deeper look…

Physical traits: Genetic makeup plays a key factor in terms of visceral, non verbal attraction. Upon sight women assess in men signs of masculinity and facial/body symmetry. Here is where your AF comes into play

1.) A WHR [waist to hip ratio of 0.8 is considered the most attractive]

But humans are not exclusively visual, we are also olfactory.

2.) Upon smell, there's pheromones at work that generate an illicit response, your bilateral symmetry dictates your pheromones

3.) Height, women prefer taller males to ones shorter than themselves in romantic relationships http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/sbp/sbp/1996/00000024/00000002/art00005

So is this all there is to the story? Is a short or unsymmetrical guy SOL in the realms of sexual conquests with boatloads of beauties?

As much as humans are animals with basic instincts similar to our ancestors, we are also social, intelligent creatures that have evolved to have the biggest brain of all the vertebrates on planet earth. We do not live in a vacuum; we live in a society where other people's opinions and preferences influence our thinking and decisions regarding sexual attractiveness and mate selection. As a result it may seem that women make decisions regarding sex not based solely on aforementioned genetic factors, but social standing and alpha behavior as well.

Non-Physical traits:

1.) Status/fame:promises security and betterment of herself or her future offspring 2.) Power: IDGAF attitude, frame, take it or leave it philosophy, game etc. 3.) Options with other women ie. Dread game. 4.) confidence: ability to approach, ability to conquer

Herein lies the puzzle, for which I have not found any research to date. If visceral attraction is independent of all non genetic factors that have been constructed via human intelligence and human interaction, to what extent do alpha behavior/status influence innate desire? Can thinking a certain way about a man or the way he's perceived actually change the way his pheromones, symmetry or height are accessed in her lizard brain?

The answer to this for readers of TRP and us manospherians is that we must manage our expectations…

Frame, confidence and power will make tremendous differences for an average male with average genetics. It will push him over the hump by eliminating certain behaviors and adopting others. Will it make a difference with someone of below average looks, someone who isn’t innately attractive? Probably not as well unless that guy is the woman’s best option at that moment.

On the other side of the equation, can a good looking male with exceptional genes, bone facial structure, symmetry, etc. be timid, socially awkward and turn off women? or be needy beta male and dry her up like the sahara desert? Definitely.

TRP is the harbinger of truth and the illuminating light shining through the facade. Humans are born with widespread variation with some hitting the genetic lottery and some not, but this piece isn’t meant to be discouraging or disparaging to anyone on the path to self improvement. On the contrary,it’s meant to keep your expectations in check with reality. Because as they say, expectation is the root of all heartbreak. If we keep ours in check, being realistic with our physical limitations, we can be happy in our journey of self improvement as well as at our final destination, whatever that may be.
