Iron Rule of Tomassi #7

It is always time and effort better spent developing new, fresh, prospective women than it will ever be in attempting to reconstruct a failed relationship. Never root through the trash once the garbage has been dragged to the curb. You get messy, your neighbors see you do it, and what you thought was worth digging for is never as valuable as you thought it was.

[FR] I can attest to the above. Don't be like me.

I rekindled a failed relationship of a measly seven months. It was nice and it wasn't. It was not effortless as, I believe, /u/bluepillprofessor/, says it should be. After the first stint, she ended it because I didn't care to fucking ask. But I was upset, it's my damn resilient onetis that got attached to her a bit. After my two month cycling tour she resurfaced in my life. I knew before hand that it was doomed from the start. But the onetis is unfortunately strong in me. So after two month of awesome sex (DEVI FTW) and actually great time together, she pulled the plug. Again.

Her reason? Her hamster kept replaying her own temper tantrums and my weak beta reactions to it in her mind from months and months before. I guess it was on autoplay. The fabricated image inside her head was there the whole time. It was the garbage I possibly couldn't put in the trash and get it hauled away. I tried to shape her and the image she had of me, into something more LTR worthy. But alas, my previous beta behavior, her hamstering autoplay ended the second stint after two months.

And I have to be honest, it fucking stings. But more than that, I'm furious. I'm fucking furious. At my beta ways of reacting to her past shit-tests and my weak frame. But most of all on the part that I got attached to another woman.

So guys, do yourself a favor, start something new. Do not rekindle a failed love. What is in the past, is not in the past in your mind and definitely NOT in the past in HER mind. Save yourself the effort and time, and focus on a new girl.
