Isn't it strange that we have laws like rape, sexual assault, and hate crimes? I don't mean to say that sex crimes aren't bad, or that there aren't a unique set of symbols and words used to threaten certain minority groups. However, don't we already have words for these actions without highlighting the identities of the targets?

Think about it. An assault is the threat of touching someone in a way they don't want to be touched. A battery is the touch in question. Why does whatever the attacker was hoping to get out of the exchange matter when it comes to punishment?

I wonder what would happen if sexual assault was reclassified as a degree of assault, rapes were reclassified as a degree of battery, and hate crimes were reclassified as yet another degree of assault? I realize that the names of the crimes don't matter, but don't they?

Edit: flair button isn't working on my phone. I think I'd classify this as Blue Pill Example. I'm not entirely sure this relates to TRP, but since changing laws is part of women's sexual strategy, we may as well at least consider making it part of ours.
