My apologies if this has been covered before, but I haven't see much when it come to male behavior, only female in the redpill.

We talk about the female’s dual strategy reproductive mode and attribute it to the AF/BB. She is AF while most fertile in her more reproductive cycle and younger overall, she is BB when less fertile in the monthly cycle and older overall.

We also talk about the signs of r and K selection when a female grows up as signals for choosing a reproductive strategy of either r-selection “spray and pray” or K-selection “nurture and provide”.

r-selection being emphasis on high growth rate, more children fewer resources per child. Stereotype: my great grandmother with 14 live births, seriously thats probably about as close to turning a uterus into a clown car as you can get.

The converse of the r-strategy is the K-strategy, dominated by higher investment of resources in fewer offspring.

K-selection being emphasis on high developmental investment on children, fewer children, more resources per child. Stereotype: my mother with 2 live births (I’ll deflect the obvious joke that I was among those live births).

As an example of environmental signals that can produce effects in women, an absent father means earlier menstruation of a young girl which shifts the female strategy to identifying signals of social or environmental crisis, meaning an r-type reproductive strategy is adaptive and she is closer to a “spray and pray” reproductive strategy, leading girls to higher N count and what we have seen culturally in the last 50-ish years.

I won’t say why we, as a culture, are at this specific point in r versus K selection, but I am fond of Colttaine’s (YouTube User, look up “Biology Culture Ideology”, but all of his stuff is well thought out and good, worth a listen and he does amazing infographics!) basic thesis that the birth control pill (as well as other factors) playing a huge role.

These observations beg the question about what are the signals for men and what is our developmental programming?

If we are getting laid as males, on a regular basis with multiple partners, our environmental signals say we are in crisis r-selection mode and we expect AF from females to see the same and not commit to BB females.

Flashback to 50 years ago when we (as a species or a culture in North America) were more focused on K-selection and providing resources to a smaller number of offspring in a committed male-female union.

The fast summary of the r/K-selection AF/BB model might be:

a: if you are your AFC, you aren’t getting laid you are having huge instincts for the BB mode which is all of your environmental signals say that pair bonding is the society is in K-selection mode.

You now over commit as BB, declare your true love on the first date to the only female who gives you attention, and do all the cringe-worthy crap that mi-lady deserves to not besmirch her honor.

b: if you are your average Chad T.C. smashing every HB7+ on a regular basis your neurochemistry is giving different signals, that your environment is in r-selection mode and you better spray your god given fire hydrant penis even more.

As Chad, you don’t commit as AF, you realize your role as sperm provider, but not provisions provider, you push all the tingles buttons that the women crave while fertile, but realize you are their Kryptonite as they age and become less fertile.

Presumably the rest of us are in the grey area between those polar points.

Which explains why things like abundance mentality isn’t just a thing to cultivate because it is an environmental signal that we are in K-selection mode and trains your brain to be AF, not BB.

Its everyone’s neurophysiology that gets and interprets signals. This is one reason why its hard to change and it takes time to transition from any natural tendency to another.

Also, your signals of AF/BB will need to be more subtle than 0/1 in any interaction and over time. Its not just "Be Alpha Bro", its more subtle than that.

TL;DR If you are getting laid as a man -> it establishes and reinforces the r-selection strategy model -> spray and pray-> AF mentality

Not getting laid as a man-> it establishes and reinforces the K-selection model -> nurture and provide -> BB mentality

Its a feedback loop, if you want to break it, you need to break the signals one way or the other.
