The less than 1% of the population that has ANY kind of intersex condition, let alone actually noticeable ones. And just because exceptions exist doesn't mean the rule is bad. There are exceptions to everything.

I mean, we can all agree that rain falls down. But what about the rain that gets blown back up, because of the updrafts caused by skyscrapers?? Do we change our whole perception of what rain is because of special cases??

The whole ideology of gender being independent from biological sex was first introduced by a fucking pedophile. So forgive me for not humoring it as a legitimate school of thought. John Money was a fucking creep. He drove a little boy into suicidal depression by mutilating his genitalia and telling him he was a girl until he finally discovered the truth on his own.

He sexually abused and photographed children, advocated for the idea of children of any age being allowed to engage in sexual relationships with grown adults, and never once produced any successful examples of his ideas being productive or beneficial. But his ideology is the first documented example of modern gender theory in practice, and I doubt it's a coincidence.

Sure the stereotypes and expectations are socially constructed

When you have the same stereotypes across all nations, races, religions.. The are not constructed, they relate to biology like men generally are interested in objects and women in humans. Pants were made for men because they can just take their penis and piss, and dresses for woment because they allowed them to sit and cover themselves. before inventing the bathrooms of course.

I have read some of the late era philosophers and sociologists who authored the foundational works on which gender theory is based. Levi-Strauss was an important influence on them. He is worth reading, if you want to understand them.

The fundamental misunderstanding in today's academic departments comes from an incorrect understanding of these social "constructs".

There are indeed many distinctions about a person that are merely true because people collectively say they are true. For example, being married to someone is a social "construct" in the sense that if no one but you believes you are married to them, you are not really married to them. It is only true if others say it is true. Another example is whether you live at a certain address. Or whether you are a dentist. Or whether you are trusted or distrusted. Or whether you are a well reputed person or an ill reputed person. They are true if people say they are true.

There exist multiple aspects of a person that are in this category. Their biological sex is not in that category, but their sexual role is. So there are indeed occasions in which depraved men in unnatural social settings sometimes use other men or boys in the manner that women or girls are normally used. In those situation, it is customary to also refer to such men in a different way, because they have a different social order and different social roles, neither the role of men, nor exactly the role of women, but something different from both If you like, you could even call it a different "gender", to distinguish it from the common order and role men take. A distinction that is different than the distinction of biological sex, but related to it.

But that does not mean that a construct can be arbitrarily changed at will. You cannot simply announce that you are married to a woman you find attractive. Her and her kinfolk have to acknowledge the marriage. You cannot simply announce that you live in the White House. The people have to acknowledge it. They are constructs, but they cannot be changed at will. They can you be changed if everyone acknowledges they are changed. Not just you.

You sexual role / status / image / gender is no different. It is a distinction primarily assigned to you by others. One cannot simply announce they have the privileges afforded to women, because those privileges have to be conferred on you by everyone else. Neither can one simply announce they have the rights of men, because they rights have to be won from others, through labor and competition.

It would be like announcing you are a dentist and drilling away at people's teeth. When clients discover you are not a real dentist, could you simply announce that being a dentist is a social construct? Of course not. Neither can you announce that you are a woman because your perceived gender roles are merely a social construct.

I have absolutely nothing against transgenders. I can't imagine what it is to suffer from genderdysphoria, and I think it is great that you can choose to change your like you fit. HOWEVER! Born a man,you are a man. I don't mind to use she/her for people lik Blaire White, since I think that she choose to accept the consequences that involves being a transgender. She chose to not to go to the womens bathroom pre operation, not participating in sports, accept the fact that "people with whombs" are women, and basically biology. So for those people who follow logic, I am fine to call them what she wants.

For all those others that think it's okay to perprutate womens sports, bathrooms etc. I can't have any respect. I think Matt Walsh was correct for just asking the question; what is a woman? I don't have to agree with other people, but if you can't simply and calmly explain what a woman is, I have no meaning for listening to you.

But for transgender women coming into a panel on Vice talking about womens issues, and for Eli talking about how "their" body fluxuate on hormones each month. Get the fuck out. Besides that, he is a drugsdealer for minors, the fact that he isn't under any investigation is staggering.

Gender and sexuality used to be synonyms for the same thing in the context of human biology and sociology. The idea that gender is related to self-identity is an attempt at creating a newspeak to control thought.

All social constructs are downstream from biology becuase all human behavior is downstream from biology. IMO even the social construct change happening now is due to (pathological) biological changes in people. Just look at the difference in the environment and lifestyle of the average person today vs 100 years ago.

We talk about computers and smartphones a lot, but we have also gone from few or no plastics around us to consuming and inhaling plastics on a daily basis. This is not to mention the thousands of other manmade endocrine disrupting compounds we are exposed to. Of course these endocrine disruptors will eventually affect human behavior (some more than others), that is what we are seeing today IMO. Read Estrogeneration, it was written by an endocrinologist and goes into many of these compounds. Then you can look at changes in diet, work habits, sunlight exposure, etc. We have no clear idea how these changes affect people long term. Most of the little work on such subjects are just observational epi studies.

I think the reason why society is being conditioned to view the result of these pathologic endocrine insults (that are not necessarily intentional or a conspiracy btw) as "just way things are now, bigot" is because a critical mass of the ruling class have been affected. When celebrity, politician, and wealthy families get affected by this (and it's not necessarily clearly fixable) then they have no choice but to co-opt it. We also have to keep in mind that the ruling class benefit from the status quo. The reason many of these compounds have not been banned is because industry benefits from and lobbies for their continued use - it would be costly to change processes. Western Europe, Japan, and even Russia has banned many of the compounds that we freely allow in America.

The upshot is that they have to artificially condition society to make it seem like this large scale gender confusion is normal when it is obviously an indication of things gone wrong.

There has been no such cultural conditioning around trans-racialism even though logically speaking it should be as accepted as healthy to at least the same degree. People applaud Caitlyn Jenner and deride Rachel Dolezal in the same breath. The reality is that the "races" have far fewer differences between them than the sexes, not that simple facts have any bearing on how progressivism (progressive fundamentalism) operates.

Gender Ideology requires

Circular reasoning. You will never find one gender activist that can define a woman (or a man) without referring back to the word they are trying to define.
If they do succeed in giving a non-circular definition, they add other fallacies based on that definition (one of which was, if someone looks like and acts feminine - which lends itself to men acting feminine and looking feminine and are in fact men. - Acting like a bear and looking like a bear doesn't make you a bear).
Appeal to Emotion. If someone has the ability to cry or if they are offended. Then that refutes all science about the subject of sex and gender.
Projection. Many will claim "non binary has existed forever" but if you cannot define it then how do you know they have existed forever? You just look at someone's clothing? and that tells you if they were non-binary? WHAT SPECIFICALLY makes them nonbinary, what trait, what gene, name it. (they can't, they just want to make a claim and by claim alone makes it true).

There are many more, such as ignoring sexual dimorphism and the like. And people wonder why they see it as a religion.

Hey, you are on the wrong site. Your transphobic qualities have very little to do with feminism both historically and modern wise.

Either way though, your post is wrong. People can define themselves as they wish because they are not hurting anyone, and are happy with themselves for it. Gender, Sexuality, religion, whatever. It takes so little effort for you too mind your own business, maybe you should try it.
