I just got out of an LTR that ended pretty ugly. She purposely damaged an expensive item of mine, and I lost my cool and called her all sorts of names. This fight was on par for what we normally got into.

I guess I wonder how did it get to this point? How do I know which parts are 1) I'm behaving incorrectly and 2) That's who she is, and I can't change her.

For example there was one thing that I could never prevent her from doing: Keeping me up at night. She would regularly stay up until 3 am and sleep in while I had to go to work. We lived together in a one room shack, it was either put up with it, or go sleep in my car, or leave. I couldn't leave - I was financially constrained at the time, parents were out of the picture, and I felt like this could be resolved.. plus I really liked her.

Anyways I was stern at first, then that failed, then I begged her, that didnt work. Then I got super angry and that just made things worse. Even thinking about it infuriates me. This girl would purposely poke me sometimes as I was drifting to sleep and then deny any wrongdoing. She never gave a shit, as far as I could tell. Getting up in the morning was a fucking nightmare, 4h of sleep, 1h commute. I guess as I type this I realize what I should've done: dump her. But my question remains... are there just evil bitches like this where no matter what you do, you're doomed, or is there a kind of "solution" for every problem via red pill approach?
