So its a well known fact that texting "Hey whats up?", as a means to initiate flirting is useless. The conversation leads to nowhere. When I take girls I'm interested in now, I only do so to make plans and keep the conversation short.

This is confusing to me. You would expect a girl to want a guy to let his interest be known by just engaging in conversation. All times in the past, this has landed me in the friend category. However, only texting her to make plans seems the opposite of trying to hold her interest.

The 'blue pill tendency' i struggle with is texting girls with the "hey wassup" line and trying to go from there. Unless the girl is a good texter,which they are usually never are, this leads to pointless conversation. But for some reason, I think that if i don't remind her that i exist by t]just random pointless banter, she will forget about me in general.

Any enlightenment?
