I have a knack of remembering peoples names even if I haven't met them in years. Most people don't remember my name because it is foreign but it isn't that difficult.

Anyways, I feel like I am being AMOGed when I remember a dudes name but he doesn't remember mine. I recently read "How to Win Friends and Influence People", a recommended redpill book. It says that it really leaves a good impression when you remember a person's name because "there isn't a more sweeter word than my name".

Of course in a business setting, I'll say the person's name. But if it was an old acquaintance/friend should I pretend I don't remember that person's name so I don't get AMOGed? Does it come off as weird if I remember your name but you don't remember mine?

Edit: lots of shitty advice below. I think I am going to just continue saying people's names. If they are the type of person to try and AMOG me bc I remember their name then it is probably a person I shouldn't associate. I want to believe that most people will take it as a big compliment if a person remembers their name.
