Hi guys. Recovering blue piller here. Background: was in LTR with an ex-plate for a few years (I know, I know). We stay in different countries and have butted heads a few times about me moving over (she makes more money, high-powered professional). Went to visit her, discovered her cheating on me. Held it in, ghosted her about 2 days before trip ends. She starts freaking out and thinks it's because of our circumstances and work-life situation. Vows to come over to my country and 'make things work' (she always said coming over was career suicide and was always against it). Told me it was more important to her to have a good relationship than a good career (never indicated that during our disputes). Sends me a million texts that show she doesn't want to lose me, to please talk to her, that we can work this out, to not do this to her. Keep in mind I'm not really beta bucks since I don't make more money that her and she historically likes buying me gifts.

She caught me after stalking me outside my hotel and in a moment of weakness I revealed I knew about her cheating. After that she made some weak apologies with cliched lines and trickle truths (it was once off, it won't happen again) but even I could read her face and knew it was a lie. After that, no more emails or pleading texts.
