I have this tendency to always overthink/overcomplicate everything, this is found in all aspects of my life from exams to women. I overthink what to do on -- math/programming exams and I do the same thing when I think about what to do, say around women. I don't know where this stems from but I could seriously use some help. I think it results from general anxiety, nervousness, lack of esteem/confidence but then there is some much layer deeper than that which is causing it. I don't feel comfortable around people or with where I am at in life and it pours out from every aspect of my being. Even when I write this, I am overcomplicating things. I could have said something much simpler but I didn't, it's my nature it seems. I've read a few other people on here discussing their shyness from overthinking all their interactions with women. Is there anything I can do in particular to fix this. Aside from 'lift!' and 'read the sidebar'?
