I've been working out for a little over 2 months now, I've made good progress and I've been reading TRP a lot. I've seen some advice around the TRP subs saying that actively pursuing women is a waste, and I should see myself as the prize, not her. That's led me to a conclusion I'm unsure about.

Should I just be entirely focused on lifting and improving my mentality and confidence, and occasionally interacting with women to see if they're into me, and if they're not then I have more work to do? Or am I looking to grind interactions for n- and k-closes independent of my personal progress?

I've been starting to talk to more strangers, and I'm starting to get to know some people at my local gym, but I'm a little lost on what my mentality should be in regards to myself and approaches.

TL;DR: Am I trying to self-improve until approaching is easy, or should I be viewing approaches as something I have to work on in the same way as lifting?
