I've always liked the idea of being able to do cold approaches, be it day game or night game, partly because of how hard it for so many men to do, partly because when you can cold approach you see opportunities with women everywhere.

However I've come to realize recently the effort that one needs to put in to get even a date through cold approaching is insane compared to just going on tinder,bumble or some other dating app.

I live in Houston, which should be a decent city for nightlife, but when I go out I usually get a few number, if I'm lucky maybe one of the numbers turn into a date, which is usually lackluster.

Compared to hoping on a dating app, I get multiple dates setup a week without leaving my bed. It seems easier to escalate with girls on these dates too.

When I think how much time, money, and health is spent on night game I just don't know if I can't justify it anymore. It's even a higher emotional investment because you have many approaches that seem to go well and even end up with a girl giving you their real number and not even replying to your text. And the thing is, all of my wings have similarly poor luck. I feel like the man who goes to bars and regularly gets action from strangers is a myth.

Is anybody actually getting regularly laid from night game in 2018? Has everything moved online/social circle? Am I just a guys whose looks are far better then his game?

Thing is, I don't like the idea of tinder and bumble owning my dating life, the algorithms can change in an instant, or they can start charging more and more access to desirable women, so I continue to do my cold approaches, for now but I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem and figured out a way around it.
