Currently in uni, older than most of them here but have a youngish face so it works, kinda outta touch with this flirting shit as I was in a relationship for 7 years and was oblivious to it previously!

Got back from football/soccer and me and 2 uni flatmates decided to go kebab shop n get some food, we was waiting for our order and 3 older women (late 30's/40) came in slightly drunk talkative etc, they got their order before us and sat down slightly close to us 3 standing up.

One of them kept looking at me and started small talk, then her friend asked me few random questions, then the other one whispered something to her and then she asked me my age, and I was honest and said just turned 25 then she smirked at her friend and said to her friend something like 'see it's fine' then we got our food n went.

Like I dunno if that's flirting or not, like why would she say 'see it's fine' like what's the problem with talking to a younger guy I don't understand, someone fill me in what's going on haha thanks.
