Depends on the career you are pursuing. A degree in philosophy is not as worthy as a degree in electronics.

Check the job market for that title, and talk to people working on it.

Personally think it’s worth it, if there’s a job that you wouldn’t mind doing every day for many years that doesn’t make you want to kill yourself. A trade would be the same thing but I would hate my life pretty hard doing labour

Make sure you pick an employable major and it's worth it.

If not then you're gonna be in debt and jobless thinking university is useless.

Consider doing business, engineering, education, healthcare and you should be good. Maybe also consider going to law school or Med school. Just pick the right major and get internships and college will be worth it.

Mostly it's a waste of time and money but not for everybody. Successful people just do it. Find your own way.

If you are gonna go to university at 22 make sure you get a master’s as well right after it
