This is before I came to know about TRP. I've always been a fairly confident dude and some of the concepts were always in my head - things like dread, working out, and stoicism.

My last LTR of three years was my favorite girl by far. She was very loving and caring, always performing little corny acts of affection and loved to provide me with gifts and wanting to please me. She was also incredible in bed, ready to do it whenever or wherever I wanted (I have to add: who knew sex was better with a girl who was crazy about you than with a girl you were crazy about?). I would talk about how hot other girls were in front of her, and after initial hesitation from her side, she finally was open to the idea of a threesome with another girl (although we never did, the point is I had dreaded her so much that made her understand that I had options).

She became increasingly insecure about herself and worked on herself, getting hotter and fitter, and although I did show her a bit more attention after that she felt it was not enough and used to hint occasionally that she felt I didn't care about her enough. Eventually she confronted me and said "I need to know you won't leave me" to which I gave ambiguous answers. She wasn't happy with them and eventually left me.

However, this was short-lived and she kept coming back to me. We proceeded to have sex for a couple months, after which she left me again. The same thing kept happening for a while and when she finally realized I was vague and wouldn't wholeheartedly commit, she left for good and blocked me on all forms of social media/basically erased me from her life.

Now the question I have here is: why did this happen? Why would a girl with high attraction for you leave you? I never ever enquired about the guys in her life, always made my life about me and was always calm and rational. Doesn't that contradict TRP's core idea that a girl will always prefer someone who lives by his own rules than someone who commits?
