The details aren’t actually important. I moved from a city on the east coast to go to law school in CA. It’s a small school and the girl I’ve been hooking up with and caught a lot of feelings for has grown super distant over the summer and I’m sure she’s been talking to some guy who is in our class. He’s ranked pretty high and they’re on the same journal together. He and I are both well liked, so a lot of my social group hangs around him. And there’s limited attractive girls at this small school so I’ll run into her frequently.

How should I handle our interactions? Obviously I still have feelings, but I’m not stupid, I know winning her back is unrealistic. But I can’t burn bridges in law school, and I don’t want to burn bridges with her social group
