You could have carbs after a workout, I personally can’t cut out carbs like some other people or I suffer academically due to all early morning classes. You need glycogen in your brain to function at is best, it’s a fact. I do kickboxing cardio also after workouts for 15 minutes in bursts of 3 minute sets with 30 seconds on the bag 30 seconds off to rest.
