I’m from a city and I’m considered pretty fun there. But I go to college out of state where all the kids are from suburban areas and every single joke falls flat.

I’m not the most confident person, but I’ve read most TRP and askTRP posts regarding becoming funnier, and I tried to emulate those lessons but nothing is working.

Because my jokes falls flat and I look like a try hard I lose respect and it just sucks.

Do you guys have any advice on how to be funnier especially in group settings?
