Man if your friends want to linger on the side let them be. That doesn't always make them beta.

But you can always just say "hey I'm gonna go dance for a bit I'll find you guys later" then disappear

When I go out with guys to a club we usually divide and conquer and then form back around later or don't, if we see you with a girl we leave you alone. Or if we get a group of girls we then introduce our friends.

You just gotta find friends who get it or deal with them not getting it and do your own thing for a bit. It's OK to chill with people you like even if they aren't "alpha" enough for you.

More alpha just mean more competition which sometimes isn't great.

What I do in those situations is open groups of girls for the group of men I am with. I go over, start talking to them, then invite the guys over.

That gives you massive social proof and respect.

You already have a huge headstart over the other guys, and if they get laid as a result they'll feel they owe you one.

Plus, it's fun!

It was definitely not a fun night.

It's very low value that your level of fun for the night was dependent on your group of friends. You're blaming them for being a boring person? You should've went to the dance floor yourself and did your own thing.

Also, you shouldn't be going out to do things that you don't find enjoyable. I know that when I go to a concert, I am excited for the artist. I look up their set list and lyrics to my favorite songs. Even if I don't get any numbers or grind on anyone, I still had a fucking blast because my night isn't dependent on my success with women.

Lastly, sticking with 1 group of friends limits yourself. You should have a group of friends for going out that aligns with the kind of experience you like to have (Outgoing? Social?). Then another group for chilling and relaxing. I have a group of friends that love to get together and play Smash Bros. They're not the best ladies men but they're great to be around when I'm just trying to unwind. Then a group of bros for hitting the gym together with.

Yes, this happens, especially if your friends are 'blue pilled' about woman, you will need new friends to go sarging with, you cannot do pickup with guys who don't know, they will cock block you or play the white knight during pick up. Just avoid the whole scenario if they are like that.

But that doesn't mean they can't be your friends, you don't have to disown them. Try to convert at least a couple to pickup, and to do that you have to go to the field and have them see you work you magic.

Yeah after a while you likely won’t spend your time socially with them but determine you are better out by yourself or with like minded individuals. Their resentment may become an issue as well.
