Are you forcing these strategies when you don’t even have the opportunity? Or are you using these strategies and tools when you have the chance and opportunity?

Many times these strategies and tools over took my personality or ‘righteous self’ and made me act like a socially retarded robot.

This shit is long, but the TL DR is that pickup is the basis of the red pill, and to really understand the red pill and apply it, you have to already be good with women.

Getting good with females by using a structured approach won't come natural. But if just being yourself worked, if you already knew what the fuck you were doing, you wouldn't be here.

You're looking for something that will get you better results than you're getting with what you know. The Red Pill is a gateway to an extent, but you're sneaking past the guy collecting tickets.

In general, red pill rookies don't really get it. You're jumping into calculus when you can't multiply.

The practical aspects of the Red Pill were primarily devised by Roosh and Roissy, who were veterans of Mystery Method and old school PUA.

Show intent, agree and amplify, frame - those are all pickup concepts and practices. None of that shit is red pill.

All pickup starts and awkward and feels cringey until the mindset has been internalized. You need to go out and make a fool of yourself in order to get good at this. You can't ride a bike on the first try.

Once it gets easy, you'll see why it works. It will be the whatever we said it was, but you'll know it's the truth from experience, not readings and theory.

Back in the day, when guys saw the mating process for what it was, that was the first red pill moment.

Guys realized what they needed to do, and ended up doing it all the time, and scoring more.

It's after fucking chicks with boyfriends, putting up with female bullshit, seeing the lies, realizing that girls after getting less attractive over time, and any given girl is a usually a headache - that's when there was the second red pill moment.

Why the fuck am I doing all this shit for people that I don't give a shit about?

At first the sex is great. The companionship is great. But then it wears off, and you're sleeping with someone that you don't like and can't respect.

And then you see that she's trying to get you not hit the gym, not work on your passion to spend time with her.

And if you indulge her, if you make her happy, she punishes you for it.

It doesn't take a lot of success to realize that something is fucked up.

Why was she doing this? Why does she act like this, after you've already fucked her?

Hypergamy.

It all starts to click into place. In my opinion, a man can't truly understand the red pill until he's seen chicks for what they are.

Most men only gets a glimpse after they fuck, post nut clarity. Then the balls refill and you want to fuck again. Maybe this chick, but if you can someone hotter. Repeated success shows patterns. And when you talk to other guys that have had success, something happens.

The dawning realization of a girl's hypergamous nature adds depth to the PUA practices. And using the same tactics in PUA but with a red pill mindset makes fucking chicks easier because you care less. The fact that you don't care, fucks with her ego at every point in the interaction.

So a red pill tactic goes even more against the grain than a PUA tactic.

For instance, Texting for logistics only is bad pickup but good red pill.

Good text practices are about keeping the girl emotionally engaged. Red Pill guys don't give a fuck. He's used to going out and scoring, so if the chick flakes, GOOD. schedule is freed up.

Pickup guys value pussy very highly and are flexible about getting it. Pussy is either number one or two in his life.

The red pill man puts pussy maybe in 4th or 5th place.

So that is the long answer. You use tactics when learning PUA because pussy is valuable. You aren't forcing anything, because it's natural to not take a chick seriously, to fuck with her perceptions, to prey on her mischief and sexual side.

When you realize the value of pussy for yourself, not because you read some dumbass on the internet like me, then you use red pill philosophy to guide your actions.

You must be quite new to this, in which case you will be realizing you either have or don’t have an attractive personality.

Use the opportunity to first focus on pointing out what traits you wish to express, which one you don’t, and work on what you need to bring them into your reality.

By going straight to chase tail with only textbook knowledge of how to act, any insecurities you feel will show and your success will be unpredictable.

Either way it’s worth the experience of practicing while also being dedicated to making your desired traits real for you.
