Drop contact, but send her a confirmation text shortly before the date. But make sure that it's not "Hey, are we still on?"

Make it something like "Hey I could be 5-10 minutes late" or "Wear something sexy for me", you get the point, don't seem thirsty.

I think you are over-judging the importance of the date. Just do whatever you want, you probably gonna "screw up" at some point and come back asking what you could do to push things. Truth is, it's not about what you did but the state you're in.

The core of red pill is to understand the underlying concept and make better decision not asking for advice to the point.

Your solution is simple, spin plate. Plate spinning is an abstraction, it doesn't necessary mean you have to have a lot of ladies lined up right now but you need to have the ability to pull ladies, to discover options. Once you dump the scarcity mindset then you won't put too much attention on things that is seemingly meaningless.
