How's it going Seddit!

Just got back from a Kendrick Lamar concert on my campus and can't sleep so I figure I'd write my first field report.

I get to the concert about an hour into the opening act (I hated it). However towards the end of it some attractive girls came down to the row next to us. My friends and I discussed and decided they were in high school and that since I was the only one who was a freshman was the only one who could get in on that. Not gonna lie I was kinda nervous especially because they had their backs turned and didn't want to come off as creepy so I held off for a bit.

That is until two of the girls (HB 7 and HB 8) opened on me. They asked if my friend and I could throw them into the pit section once it got crazy I told them that I didn't think I was strong enough for that and the HB 8 agreed. To which I asked if she was calling herself fat. She responded well and said it depended on what I thought. I said I was keeping my opinion to myself on that one. She laughed and I was getting a hunch that she was interested.

The HB 8 kept opening on me (I found out she was actually a freshman also) as the conversations would dull out and we'd go back to out respective friend groups. Each time I would poke fun at her and such until the concert started.

During the concert we did not talk at all and I saw that she was not singing along or dancing to it at all. When it ended I asked her if she even knew any of Kendricks songs since she was not jamming out to them. She said she was more of an A$AP Rocky girl, to which I challenged her to name a song. She named three and I said "Wow, that's two more than I asked for". She responded with "Yeah, I'm an overachiever." I told her that that was 3 more songs than I expected that she knew and apparently she got offended and dipped.

I was a little disappointed (and still am) in myself for messing up with an HB 8 that was obviously into me. But I am definitely using this as motivation to open more on campus and be less of a douche when I joke around.
