For a while I had this (married) man hitting on me(F25). I just joined the company and he was older and in a way higher position. Therefore, I simply tried to avoid him. Once he moved to my department… well, that became difficult. For me it was (and still is) extremely uncomfortable to work with him. Reason why one day I decided to speak up… I told him how I felt and expected him to acknowledge his behavior so we could move on. Unfortunately, that conversation didn’t lead to any positive outcome. Firstly, he admitted that he noticed me because I’m good looking but then denied the rest. He denied almost everything and kinda contradicted himself. His body language clearly showed he was embarrassed and deceptive. Plus, in moments of silence, he started going back and forth from looking into my eyes to staring at my lips. That felt… provocative and sexual… and left me even more confused.

Since this conversation, he got slightly closer to me (physically) which he was not anymore from the moment he joined my department. Again, I feel confused and manipulated. I don’t even understand what’s the point of everything he does. I wonder if any of you could help me understand him better and suggest how to deal with this situation🙏🏻 Is his behavior seductive or simply manipulative?
