Whenever a guy starts saying things like “she doesn’t know i like her” he is already fucking up. Because he is acting like interest has to be hidden, and then randomly confessing and pouring his heart out which of course never works.

Hitting on a girl should be done from day one, not as a vulnerable thing but rather to establish intentions early on. It’s not about getting her comfortable as a friend and then saying that you want to transition to romance.

It’s about being clear from day one that you find her cute, attractive and want to take her out on a date.

It’s not a secret that you need to withhold from a girl until. you or her is ready; it’s something that needs to be the beggining of everything and then work from there once it’s established that she doesn’t mind being hit on.

It’s not about hiding it, it’s about being clear from day one, to avoid misunderstandings and avoid wasting your time.

Women know from day one if they like you or not as more than a friend so hiding is a waste of time and counterproductive because if they like you from day one and you don’t hit on her she then stops liking you like that and decides you are better off as friends.

I just want to say that men (and especially young men) make it extremely obvious when they like a girl. And women are extremely good at reading men and knowing when they have crushes since men hit on them and act weird around them all of the time for their entire lives. So I wouldn't be so sure that she doesn't know you like her. If you've talked to her and interacted with her in class while having a crush on her, there's a strong chance that she's picked up subtle cues that you're into her.
